Well, no one came to me with logos for the competition, and we'd had that old one for a while now, so I decided to replace it with something I thought up. What do you guys think? ^^ it's this one:

Humm..... I'd let you down if I didn't tell you to improve it, so ... encourage diversity with a different hand =P
Down with white supremacy!
....I still have concerns with the group name ^^ Sounds like a writer's group.

White supremacy XD Maybe I should make the hand gloved. Or green.
And I can change the text.

................ leave the white hand. Who cares? I'm tired of all this "oh oh oh but you're forgetting about the other racial groups" stupidity. If he wants a white hand then let him have a freaking white hand. If you're so concerned about being PC then glove the hand. If anyone tries to pull any more PC stuff on me, I'm becoming a freaking racist ;D

This is a weird thought, but why is there just one hand grasping it. If it's together, why not make two hands grasping it, or would that look too weird?

Yeah it would look a little weird, and I did think about it. I guess I could put a faded hand in the background, but the main thing is that we want to stress the individual's ability to grasp it. The fact that it's a group logo applies it to the group, I think.
And if there were more hands, it would seem as if the hands were competing for this one prize, when really it's not like that at all.

I don't think you can *know* Truth even if you have it--does that exclude me from the group now?

It's all very metaphorical and such. I wouldn't worry about it individual interpretation and all that. Indeed, the very Truth of Truth of Truth is something we should look for, here.

I'm not worried about it, I'm doing as I always do: pointing out room for improvement, since you asked.
