It wasn't sacarsm, and you got it almost right in my opinion. He doesn't have the true and only interpretation, but the church in general; he is only the only who manages this church. And as I stated earlier, we don't center so much about the Bible than the other Christians.

You can hide in a my house asf because... I'm a Roman Catholic, And have been since before I was born, And the one thing they say about Catholics is: They'll take you as soon as you're warm. You don't have to be a six-footer. You don't have to have a great brain. You don't have to have any clothes on. You're A Catholic the moment Dad came, Because Every sperm is sacred. Every sperm is great. If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate. That's Monthy Python, isn't it?

It's simply that the Pope has the true interpretation of the Bible because he's been appointed by God, according to Catholicism. I don't care what anyone else says, the Pope is not picked by anyone other than the state. That's why I'm not a Catholicism fan- they expect many people to have blind, fear-driven faith istead of heartfelt passion and common sense. In a word, that's megalomania.

I got a new deck not long ago. I didn't like it too much at first, but it kept grabbing my attention, so I caved and bought it. The more I use it, the more I'm falling in love with it. It's the Phantasmagoric Theatre deck, and it has so much more personality than any other deck I've ever used.
Anyone have any plans for Samhain? I'm planning a solitary ritual out in the middle of nowhere, then a big loud party around a bonfire later. It's gonna be fun.

Hey Tsuki? What attracted you to Paganism, if I may ask? *curious; likes to talk about the three things that people say you shouldn't talk about*

Hey Tsuki? What attracted you to Paganism, if I may ask? *curious; likes to talk about the three things that people say you shouldn't talk about* Questions are meant to be asked. Anyone who says otherwise needs a kick in the nuts. Actually, I was raised in a very Christian home. From an early age, I never felt any rapport with the Christian religion. I was always attracted to the metaphysical and the supernatural, even at a very young age, and towards my middle school years I stumbled across a book of Paganism. All the different branches of Paganisn attracted me, but when I started ready about Wicca, it felt like it "fit the puzzle". So, I took the dive into it quite a few years and I've been a practicing Witch ever since. Religion shouldn't be something you're born into, it should be something that calls to you- or at least, I think so. Then again, I get my hand smacked a lot.

*nod* Makes sense. I was raised in a wide-open home--my parents encouraged me to be open to everything. Thus, no single religion has stuck, though I incorporate thoughts and elements of many into my beliefs.
Cheers~

She doesn't claim any one religion, but adopts many ideas from others, depending on what makes sense to her. She gets a lot of shit for it from others, but I stand by her all the way. We didn't grow up in a very "free-thinking" home (quite the opposite, really), and yet we both ended up following the beat of our own drum.

When people ask I say I'm a Native American Spiritualist, follows those traditions and beliefs seems to fulfill me the most but I also incorporate aspects of Buddhism and even Catholicism. The only religious book I've found so far that I really like is the Tao Teh Ching, which is the basis of Taoism, similar is many respects to Buddhism. So basically I'm very spiritual but not extremely religious. (Oliver it was actually Ghost Ranch that helped jumpstart my interest into Native American Spiritualism! just another reason why I hold that place so dear)

There's actually a growing sect of Catholics who don't follow the pope )mainly Sacred Heart Churces.) ...my Grandmother's a devout Sacred Blood Catholic and is pro-choice, and even likes Harry Potter! go figure lol
